As we were beginning the remodeling and repainting of some
of our interior walls, the Lord spoke to our Bishop about the significance of
this remodeling---that it was symbolic of the rebuilding of the walls of
peoples’ lives that were already a part of The Cathedral body, and those
that were soon coming! As we begin to renovate and rebuild in the
natural, we know that God is accelerating the rebuilding of the spiritual walls
of families and lives throughout Oklahoma City. The Lord’s
instruction was clear – this is a strategic moment in the life of
Cathedral!
According to the pattern in the book of Nehemiah, we have
entered into a 52 day season of prayer, preparation and giving ,which we
believe is going to thrust us as a church into all that God has in store this
fall. We must get ready . . . God has big plans in store! We are
endeavoring to repaint and renovate our sanctuary walls, carpet and interior,
update and renovate our nursery and children’s facilities, and expand our
outreach and media ministries.
To accomplish all this, we are believing for God to provide
through at least 200 people who will sow $500. Some may do more, some may
do less, but we know that God’s provision always follows his assignment,
and as we stretch and believe together, we’re going see unusual and
miraculous things take place as we step into the harvest God has prepared for
us this year. It is an exciting time, we can’t wait to see all that
God does. Lives all over Oklahoma City are ready to be rebuilt – we
are eager to respond to God’s call. . .and we need your help . . . will
you join us in this great endeavor? We believe that as you do, you’ll
see God do great and mighty things in your life as you contribute to rebuilding
the lives of others.
